"Did you pack the sunscreen?" Everyone has asked or heard this question right before leaving for their long-awaited vacation. When it's the nicest time of year, most people remember that sun protection is important. In everyday life they don’t. 

That's exactly where the problem often lies. When it comes to sun protection, many people only think about how they can avoid getting red and sunburned at the beach. Yet because of this, many people only use sunscreen at this time of the year.

Sun protection = Vacation, Too much sun = Sunburn. Unfortunately, this equation is still very common. For many years, research and science has shown that sunscreens protect us from more than just sunburns. A sunburn, or the technical name erythema solare, is only the first visible sign of skin damage. Even before the skin has turned "red", damage is possible.
